How does the health score work?
Every product gets a score from 0 to 100 based on three factors: nutritional quality, additive safety, and processing level. The formula is transparent — tap any score in the app to see exactly how it was calculated.
Why isn't my product in the database?
Cull uses its own community-built database. If a product isn't found, you can submit it directly from the app — just take photos of the front and back labels. Your submission will be verified and added within minutes.
Is my data safe?
Yes. Scan history and favourites stay on your device. We don't track what you eat, where you shop, or sell any data to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
What's included in Cull Pro?
Pro unlocks AI ingredient analysis, an AI nutritionist you can ask questions, search by product name, and product comparison. Basic scanning with health scores, dietary profiles, and healthier alternatives are free forever.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions. Find Cull and tap Cancel Subscription. You'll keep Pro access until the end of your current billing period.
The barcode scanner isn't working
Make sure Cull has camera permission (Settings > Cull > Camera). Hold your phone steady about 15–20cm from the barcode in good lighting. If you're still having trouble, try the text search feature instead.
A product's information looks wrong
You can resubmit the product with corrected information. Scan the barcode, tap Submit, and provide updated photos and details. Our verification system will review the update.
